New Jersey Pro Solo

New Jersey Pro Solo thoughts-

Session 1- TBH I had zero confidence in the car after first runs. I was pretty frazzled trying to figure out where to start to sort out the handling.

After the first session we took all of the shock out of the rear and all but two clicks in the front. It was significantly better for Chris and JT

Session 2- remove the rest of the shock in the front of the car and then the car became much more predictable and I felt like I had a car to work with. Coned a time that would have put me third in class. The balance was still a touch loose, with the bars full soft and the shock at full soft and the rear as low as it can go, I was out of adjustment everywhere suspension wise. I asked Chris to increase the angle of attack in the wing.

Session 3- it rained over night so, burn outs it is! I did two smokies and still managed to pick up a few tenths on the left and some cones on the right. Opted for adding even more angle of attack in to the wing for Chris and JT. The car became even more balanced and predictable, just still sitting on top of the pavement instead of carving. A spring change before UMI Motorsports Park Muscle on the Mountian is in order but I think we have a car that can carry its weight now! So glad Chris was able to get up into those trophies as the grip started to come back by the time CAM ran and he kept it clean! Bummer I couldn’t manage to nab a second trophy for the car this weekend and unfortunately cones count!

Positive learning weekend for sure!! Thanks again Chris Brown for the ride!
